In July 2026, S3B released a Discussion Paper providing Australia’s first national baseline of Australia’s semiconductor sector across capability, capacity, economic contribution, and supply chain dynamics. S3B gathered feedback from across the sector through a range of engagement channels intended to test assumptions, validate findings, identify gaps, and gather evidence led input to inform the Roadmap’s development.
A Stakeholder Feedback Summary is now available, capturing the key themes, priorities and opportunities identified by more than 200 stakeholders from across Australia’s semiconductor ecosystem. S3B is currently finalising the National Semiconductor Roadmap. It is scheduled for release at the Semiconductor Australia 2026 Conference in October.
